long story short: i need to lose 15-20 lbs.
last week i got my shit together and started committing to healthy living again. nothing wild and crazy, just small changes that i got out of the habit of doing. basically when laziness took over and it became too much to request no tortilla strips with that salad, or the dressing on the side. little shit that really does add up to bigger changes.
i've stopped running for my own training. i'm still running 4, or as of this week, 5 times a week with my clients.
i purchased a groupon a while back for barre classes and started cashing them in. i love it. it's challenging and not too sweat inducing although by the end of the session every single one of your muscles is screaming bloody murder.
i lost 4 pounds this week. i'm ecstatic about it for that extra little push and motivation it has given me.
it's never the beginning that is hard, but the follow-through.
happy humpday!
Good luck with the weight lose.

DeleteAmen, sister. Beginnings are easy, probably because I've begun so many times that I'm a master. Follow-through? That's where it gets tricky...
ReplyDeleteif it were only simple right? we'd all be thin! and healthy! and fit!
DeleteSo true about the follow through... Starting tends to be the easy part for me. Congrats on your 4lbs. and creating an action plan. You've got this!
ReplyDeleteyes! the hardest part is being behind it 100% but you gotta start somewhere and focus only on 1 day at a time!
DeleteI have such a hard time keeping track of these things, and my progress too because my weight is extremely variable. Me before and after a run can differ by up to 10 lbs...
ReplyDeleteAwesome - you go girl.
ReplyDeletethanks! it's only the first week though!
