love it, minor the fact that it doesnt reset itself every day but it's free so... I'll deal with it.
so yeah...I've been drinking more lemon water and sugar/caffeine free tea, and not counting it towards my daily intake. needless to say, I haven't been reaching my daily target.
Speaking of which, what are your thoughts on the new recommendation of drinking half your weight in oz?
If anyone were to ask me, I'd totally say track the lemon and sugar/caffeine free tea towards your daily intake, but yeah...I clearly like to set the unattainable guideline really high.
Thoughts?
Would you count your lemon water and sugar-free, caffeine free tee towards your water intake?

I would totally count both toward the intake. I tend to not set water goals because I lean more toward the belief that the amount we ought to drink is overinflated and that a better guideline is simply to drink water when you're thirsty. I HATE the feeling of constantly having to pee and being SO full from water when I'm trying to force down a certain number of ounces. I'm also not sure if it makes sense for me to need more water than you just because I'm heavier. What if you're more active or live in a drier climate?
ReplyDeleteyeah...I'm not sure how I feel about the new water guidelines either but I am definitely counting that water towards my daily intake!
DeleteI would count both too!! I never really think of it in terms of ounces partially because I get lazy! And partially since I have a HUGE water bottle at work and make myself drink it so I can take a break and fill it! LOL
ReplyDeletehahahaha...right?! i used water drinking as an excuse to get up and get water too.
