Michigan is normally dreary and snow covered, thankfully neither of them are the case, but it is still amazing all the grand plans I came up with while in Florida seemed harder and harder to achieve the closer I got to Michigan.
It's so easy to come up with grand plans and goals while away on a sunny vacation, but when you come back and reality hits. It's definitely a bit more of a challenge, especially with how early the sun sets, it seems like I'm 100% ready to curl up on the couch and read or watch TV.

How do you get done what you need to do in the dreary winter months?
I'm really trying to focus on how I want my life to be and doing the things I need to do to achieve it. It sounds easy and to some degree it is, but I'm trying to not get overwhelmed and just focus on 1 task at a time.
I'm also trying to remember that I've been doing the things I've been doing for years and change isn't going to happen overnight so I need to be flexible and forgiving.
As always, easier said than done.

welcome back. each day, one at a time!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home! Now we need to get out and run :)
ReplyDeleteOk this is going to sound off the wall weird... but one major way I get things done when i come home is to not take off my shoes. I feel like as long as I have shoes on, I need to be up and moving around. As soon as the shoes come off, my butt is on the couch!
