I'm sipping my 2nd or 3rd cup of Wintry Blend this season...anyone else notice the price hike? I could have sworn it was only $6.99 last year and this year it's $8.99! i still bought a can tho...

I can however say that I feel much more clear on where I am heading than I was last year at this time. I haven't really talked much about my unemployment/lay off but there are a ton of emotions and feelings you feel and you feel so alone with them because no one talks about what they go through.
I floundered early on this past year, but I can now honestly say that every choice I made has led me to where I am right now. I can see what I want to do and what I need to do to get there and it feels good. That I didn't waste my time. It's all still a bit maddening though and I still have to get through this Chem final.
My first week of training wraps up today, so I'll be sure to post my plan and my goals for next year tomorrow!
i can totally relate, now that I'm back and unemployed, it's hard to know where to even begin. I am glad to hear that things have turned around for you :) What races are you thinking of running next year? There's a great one near me - the Boilermaker (15K) in July... if you're looking for a race-action!

ReplyDelete@Christine.. I had planned on running mostly local races but I had wanted to do the Cherry Blossom 10 miler but given my lack of fundage, I figured I couldn't swing it. Now I wish I would have entered the lottery! I'll look into the Boilermaker!
