First thing is first : I LOVE your new blog header. Super cute!
Second thing is second : I have nasty knee problems... the problems are all in the joint itself. Do you think compression socks would hurt/help/or not affect them? I'd love to try some when I run... but I don't know if they have any affect on the knee itself... thoughts?
Congrats on the long distance!! I've been sick for the last week with a cough and asthma issues so I haven't been able to run. (wahh wahh))
I ate so many strawberry gu's while training for my first marathon, that i haven't touched them since. I typically don't eat much for half marathons, but I'll need to get back in the habit for my next full. I'll definitely try the espresso!!
you rock !!! running half around the world ..(ok..not quite but i think so..) and then accompanying your elderly mother to a sunday night dinner (one hour drive just to get there) being a gracious & witty dinnerguest ..driving another hour back to the crib ...YES YOU ROCK !!!
Fourteen is so awesome! Congrats on the new mileage!!
I usually use my sleeves for training runs, if they are longer than a couple of miles (or if it is cold out). And I save my compression socks for races. Sometimes I will wear the socks on a long run, but I try to save them for racing just so I don't wear them out too fast.
