I bought Lily one of the German Advent calendars with chocolate inside. She's going to flip out when she realizes that she gets to eat candy every day.

ReplyDeleteI actually don't have one most years. Sometimes I get one of the plain chocolate ones. As a kid I had one that my parents would fill themselves every year.

We've got an Advent Calendar with little velcro pieces that cover the calendar. On each day, you take off a piece and put it on the tree at the top of the calendar. We've lost at least 3-4 pieces over the years, but I still love the thing.

I don't buy them now, but my mom always bought them for my brother and I when we were kids, and we LOVED them.
